Drainage and hydrology

i.  To improve drainage system and enhance ground water recharge

The Nairobi Rivers Commission will develop framework for improvement of drainage and hydrology infrastructure and coordinate implementation of drainage and hydrology projects and programs.

ii. To coordinate flood mitigation measures and disaster risk management responses within the Nairobi Rivers basin

NRC will conduct vulnerability analysis, Develop a strategy for implementation of early warning systems and infrastructure development and Coordinate implementation of disaster response recovery strategy
